Roads
A key division within Zimbabwe’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructural Development, responsible for planning, constructing, and maintaining the country’s road network.
Core Functions:
- Planning and designing regional trunk roads, state roads, and bridges.
- Constructing and maintaining road infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient transport.
- Supervising contractors and projects related to road development and rehabilitation.
- Ensuring compliance with national and international standards for road construction and safety.
- Supporting national development goals by improving connectivity and facilitating trade and mobility.
