Harare - Bulawayo Road
The Harare–Bulawayo Road is currently undergoing phased rehabilitation as part of Zimbabwe’s broader infrastructure upgrade strategy. While not yet fully dualised, critical maintenance and resurfacing works are ongoing to improve safety and traffic flow.
Harare - Mutare Road Dualisation
As of August 2025, approximately 46 km of the Harare–Mutare Road dualisation project have been completed and opened to traffic, primarily between Harare and Marondera. Construction is ongoing, with major works underway at the Mabvuku Traffic Interchange and the Christmas Pass bypass in Mutare
Shurugwi-Mhandamabwe Road
Harare - Beitbridge Road
As of late 2025, the Harare–Beitbridge Road project is over 80% complete, with approximately 493 km of the 580 km highway rehabilitated and opened to traffic. The final 87–88 km are under active construction, targeting full completion by December 2025.
